Make time to think, learn and keep growing.
The Lead Always Forum is a weekly learning space for people navigating the pressure, uncertainty and change of modern work and life. Step out of the noise for an hour, understand more about what may be shaping the way you think and respond, gain fresh perspective and leave with something practical to use.
From Paula and Leigh — we would be honoured to have you with us.
A place to think, learn and turn knowledge into action.
One hour to step out of the noise
Four to five facilitated sessions each month, every Monday. Choose the time that works for you: 12:00 or 19:00 SAST.
Understand what may be happening underneath
We draw on psychology, neuroscience, coaching, mindfulness and lived experience to help make sense of the habits, reactions and pressures shaping the way you work and live.
Something practical to take with you
Each session includes a question, practice, process or small experiment you can use in the week ahead. The aim is not simply to understand more, but to put what you learn to work in real situations.
Conversation that helps you think
Reflect on what you are learning, hear different perspectives and test your own thinking in a facilitated conversation. No recordings and no pressure to perform.
Fresh perspective beyond your own
People from different organisations, industries and stages of working life bring different experiences into the room. Hearing how someone else sees a familiar challenge can help you notice possibilities you may have missed.
Notice your progress over time
When you join, you will complete a short personal Progress Snapshot to establish where you are starting from. As you move through each learning cycle, you will revisit what you have been practising, what has shifted and what you want to strengthen next.
Learn. Practise. Integrate. Progress.
Each cycle gives us six sessions to explore connected challenges and capacities, with time between sessions to put the learning into practice.
The seventh session is our Integration & Progress Lab: a chance to bring the previous weeks together, revisit your Progress Snapshot, notice what has changed and decide what you want to work on next.
The human challenges showing up at work and in life.
Current themes include:
- Stress, resilience and wellbeing
- Burnout and functioning well under pressure
- AI and being human at work
- Navigating uncertainty and change
- Trust and psychological safety
- Self-awareness and emotional intelligence
- Perspective, judgement and choice
Topics evolve as the world and the needs in the room change.
For people who want to keep learning and working on how they show up.
The Forum brings together managers, founders, experienced professionals, emerging leaders and people carrying responsibility or influence without necessarily having “leader” in their title.
If you're not sure whether the Forum is right for you, we would be happy to talk first. A short conversation with Paula can help you decide, with no pressure.
Have a short conversation with Paula first. You can ask questions, talk about what you are looking for and decide whether it feels like the right fit.
“We created the Forum because learning doesn't stop when a workshop or programme ends.
Most of us already know a great deal. The harder part is remembering what we know when life gets busy, pressure rises and familiar habits take over.
The Forum gives us somewhere to keep learning. To understand ourselves better, challenge the way we see things, practise what helps and notice what begins to change.
You don't need to arrive with answers. Come as you are, bring what you are working with, and give yourself an hour to think.”
